Subject: Software installation problem
My Dynoflop order was placed yesterday :)

I've downloaded the software, but I'm having a problem with installation.

I run Windows7 64-bit. When I run the installer it opens, some files get unpacked (I think I see "data1.cab' flash by), but then the windows closes and ... nothing ...

What should happen?

Where are the files unpacked?

Hi Ron,

There are some issues with the InstallShield not liking certain other processes.  Please try closing everything possible and try again. Sometimes logging off will stop a process that is holding off InstallShield. It normally works ok on W7 64.

Hi Ron,

Before you start installer, its better to run it as administrator,
default installation directory is C:\KMotion428\
If after installation you dont see in start menu "DynoMotion" shortcut, you can make it from C:\KMotion428\KMotion\Release\
There are 2 programs KMotionCNC.exe and KMotion.exe

Before you start any of them make sure you have installed usb drivers.
Go to device manager and update drivers for KFlop manually.
They are located in C:\KMotion428\USB Driver

After this open KMotion.exe and press "Config&Flash", then press
New Version and update firmware for your KFlop board.

Thank you for the help ... I had to run Windows Explorer as Administrator, then run the installer as Administrator also.

All done :)
